BLACKBURN NEWS: New faces on the board at the DWBIA

There are some new names being attached to the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association (DWBIA).

The DWBIA officially announced its new board of directors for its 2019-2022 term. The new chairman in Brian Yeomans of the Best Western Plus and Holiday Express hotels. Yeomans has worked in the downtown core for 27 years, according to a release by the DWBIA.

The other officers on the board are Pat Papadeas of Rose City Politics Inc. as vice-chairman and Bryan Datoc of Craft Heads Brewing Company as treasurer.

Others on the board include Geoff Zanetti of Villains Pub Inc., David Prantera of Bread Meats Bread, Stephanie Clark of Toasty’s Grilled Cheese and Salad Bar, and Liam O’Donnell of Dr. Disc Records.

The previous chairman, Larry Horwitz remains on the board as a past chair, with Ward 3 city councillor and restauranteur Rino Bortolin rounding out the board.
